Directed by Mehdi Fard Qaderi, the movie is nominated in various sections including Best Actor, Best Actor in a Supporting Role, Best Actress, Best Actress in a Supporting Role, Best Screenplay written, Best Picture and Best Music.

‘Immortality’ is Fard Qaderi's first feature film that depicts events happening on a train during a rainy night.

It tells the story of six different families on different wagons of the train, gradually unfolding their stories.

Fard Qaderi's 151-minute film experienced its first international screening last year at the Rome Film Festival in Italy.

Since then it has gone on screen at several international events, including the Lucania Film Festival in Italy, the Middlebury New Filmmakers Festival in the US, the Munich International Film Festival in Germany, and the Transilvania International Film Festival in Romania.

‘Immortality’ has so far won awards such as the Best Drama Film award at the 2017 Buffalo Dreams Fantastic Film Festival in the US and the best film award at the Ischia International Film Festival in Italy.

The mission of the Love International Film Festival is to bring focus on films and filmmakers from the international community whose works bring the world together and promote love and healing through cinema.

The festival is slated for July 4-7, 2018 in Los Angeles, US.
